CASA AA – TURIN
Dall'antitesi alla sintesi

CASA AA
The main feature of the 340 square meters area of the project is an original division into two housing typologies: in part loft, in part a nineteenth-century building with high ceilings, balanced volumes and brightly illuminated spaces. A rational partition gives a possibility to create different volumes so that the compact rooms alternate with the double-height spaces. At the same time, the requirements of representativeness and privacy coexist with the demand for places for well-being and relax.
The private clients require careful and sophisticated high-end details, which have to be integrated both into the ancient and modern proto-industrial context. In contrast to the use of natural materials as wood and stone, there are metal and bright red finishing. The all furniture is custom-made. The interior carpentry staircase is covered by stainless steel pierced plate. A steel railing underlines the mezzanine lightness.
